Want to learn how to dance? Want to perform in front of not 1 but 2 crowds? Now is your chance! Join the Siena Athletics Dance Clinic and perform at halftime at both the Men's Basketball game at the Times Union Center Friday, February 21st at 7pm and the Women's Basketball game here at Siena College in the ARC Sunday, February 23rd at 2pm. Practice to learn the dance moves will be held here at Siena College on MAC court #4 Tuesday, February 18th. Registration is at 5:00pm and practice goes from 5:30pm-7:00pm. This is where you will be able to pick up the tickets you have purchased for the event. Please note that when you purchase the dance clinic participant ticket this will include both a ticket to the Men's and Women's game and an official dance clinic t-shirt for this individual.
The Dance Team clinic is in honor of Sophia Rossetti who passed away in 2010 from leukemia at age 6. Sophie loved life and loved music and dancing. She impacted so many lives, especially those of her friends at Veeder Elementary School in Colonie, NY. She will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. As a dance clinic participant, $5.00 of every registration will be donated to the “For the Love of Sophie” Foundation to help families in need of financial assistance during treatment at Albany Medical Hospital.
